Dig out you leopard print and get down and dirty as London Zoo opens it’s doors for another year of after dark zoo action. Zoo Lates, which takes place on Friday nights throughout June and July, is the only time of year that you can grab a bevy from the garden wine bar and have a gander at the giraffes and the penguins whilst you drink it.
Although a heads up, with special additions this summer including 2 new Sumatran tigers at the Tiger Territory exhibit we probably wouldn’t have to many vinos, don’t want to be falling in that tiger cage do you? There’s more than just the animals if you go down for the Friday sesh and with adult sized playrooms (yep that’s giant ball ponds people!) and a bit of cabaret and comedy going on too there’s plenty to keep you entertained.
There’s also the Zoo Lates international street food festival were you can feast on the grub of your choice from any of the 20 vendors who will be on site.
