been hearing murmurings of some Ghanian grub popping up across Hackney over the last few months and now Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen has hit up Covent Garden’s Africa Centre, transforming the cafe into a Ghanian heaven. The menu changes day-by-day but think Grilled Chicken Jollof Burgers and Wraps, Nkatenkwan Wrap and Garden Egg moussaka, sweet dough bread, milo and some delish African drinks including African Fanta, Malt Beer, Malta Guinness, Star and Gulder Beer and Palm Wine. With dishes priced from as little as £5, Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen is the place to be people!

ZGK has also programmed weekly nights with Wednesday’s ‘Mid-week melting Pot’ encouraging conversation around the long banquet-style table and offering a budget friendly two-course menu for £20, including a free drink. Thursday sees Pardonmyblog inviting specially chosen acoustic acts to the café. Friday’s ‘DJ Wrap party’ is ZGK slimmed down menu to a wrap-only selection, adding more room for DJs and dancing. Only 20 seats are available as ZGK pulls out all the stops on Saturdays for ‘The Full Monty Pop-Up’, three courses, a palm wine ceremony and Alomo Vitality shots post-dinner.
