ZEN OUT FROM LONDON LIFE AT THE ROYAL HORSEGUARDS HOTEL

The hotel is launching wellness sessions during National Stress Awareness Month

If you’re looking for some calm in the capital, there’s one central London spot to head to this spring. Not only is The Royal Horseguards Hotel filled with history, with beautiful period features found across the entire property, it’s a real hidden gem, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel is looking to slow things down and help you take a break from busy London life with a brand new series of wellness sessions this month.

Encompassing two iconic buildings: The National Liberal Club building, which has hosted the likes of Churchill, Gladstone, and Lloyd-George; and the club’s apartments, previously the home of the first chief of Britain’s Secret Intelligence Service, it boasts tranquil views over gardens and the river. And you can maximise that zen by getting involved in the spring wellness sessions.

You can stretch it out in 45-minute yoga classes at 8am on 11th and 12th April, hosted by FLY LDN, where you’ll work through various poses and breathing exercises to connect your body and mind and achieve a state of peace. Or, at 8am on 13th April, switch off with a sound bath hosted by GONG, where sound waves wash over you to revitalise your body. After each session, fruit-infused water and smoothies will be on hand to refresh and ready you for the rest of the day, and tickets are just £15 so grab yours now.
