YOU’RE PULLING OUR LEG? I AM NOT DARLING, I FOUND IT UNDER THE BED!

false leg under the bed was just one of the unusual items left behind by guests of Park Plaza Hotels. A bagful of money and a pair of 1.4 metre stilts top the weird and wonderful things that cleaners find.

Park Plaza Hotels have done some research to reveal the things most commonly left behind. Razors make up 21.1%, books 14% and nightwear 12.3%, which might raise a few awkward questions at home.

And if like us you often find yourself frantically searching for that one other sock, you can rest assured the washing machine didn’t actually eat it. 52.6% of the items left behind are single socks.

So you might want to double check your dirty laundry and if you do find something missing get down there quick! Items are only kept for three months before donating them to charity.

Now where on earth did we leave that big bag of money?
