Pupils from primary schools across London are pitching up stalls at Borough Market this July for the annual Young Marketeers Summer Sale. The kids will bring fresh produce that they’ve grown from seed at school, including lettuce, peas, dwarf French beans, and radishes. As well as teaching the children about sustainable growing, seasonal food and workplace skills like sales and communication, all the money raised from the sale will go to support food redistribution charity Plan Zheroes.
