You Nose What… I Got Filler

Non-surgical tweakments are everywhere in London right now

Most of us are still hovering at the edge, wondering if it actually works or if we’ll walk out looking like a character from a Bravo reunion. Curiosity finally got the better of me, so I booked in at Alta Medi Spa for my first ever filler. Not the lips, not the jaw. The nose.

Alta is a medical spa that sits in that sweet spot between clinical and calm. It’s clean, professional and very much geared towards results. After a quick consultation to talk through symmetry, projection and what I actually wanted to change, we moved straight into the treatment.

The whole thing took ten minutes. The nurse numbed my nose and after a few tiny injections along the bridge and tip and a gentle pinch, I was ready to leave. The area was a little swollen afterwards, and that lasted about 48 hours, plus I weirdly had a runny nose for a week. But I’ve got to say, while it’s subtle – exactly what I wanted – I can definitely notice a difference. Though only me, not my husband, which is great because I’d been wary of looking overdone… and I guess that’s what happens when you start going back often. This is firmly in the safe zone. It’s a small, precise change.

Prices vary depending on the area and amount of product, but nose filler starts from around the £300 mark, with results lasting up to a year. A quick consult will map out what’s possible for your face shape.

Would I do it again? Absolutely. It’s the most low effort, high impact tweak I’ve tried, and if you’ve ever considered straightening your nose without going near a surgeon’s office, this is a solid place to start.
