Moisturisers, masks, serums, make-up…these are the newest beauty products that should be on your shelves (and on yourselves).
CBD Bath Salts
CBD brand The HuGG Co has branched out into the beauty game with a range of CBD-infused products, designed to give you those relaxing spa vibes in the comfort of your own bathroom. These HuGG Bath Salts - a mix of Dead Sea and Himalayan salts - are infused with citrus and ginger essential oils as well as 10mg of CBD to detoxify your skin, ease tension, clear your mind and really relax in the tub.
Beautaniq Butter Lip & Cheek Balm
We love a multitasking product - one less product we have to cart around town is good with us - and this lip & cheek balm from Beautaniq is a winner. It's vegan and cruelty-free with natural plant-based oils providing the hydration. You can sweep it on both your lips and cheeks, and it's easy to build up the colour if you want a more intense finish. Ideal for a quick make-up refresh when you're on the go.
Goldfaden MD Doctor’s Scrub
The 100ml version of this cult scrub, containing the super exfoliating ruby crystals, antioxidant red tea extract, seaweed extract and hyaluronic acid, is one of Goldfaden MD's best sellers because it delivers the kind of results you'd get from a clinic whilst being gentle enough to use daily. Now it's been supersized into a 200ml version, so you don't have to worry about running out of scrub - sometimes bigger really is better.
LBB Cleansing Cloths
Make-up wipes may be terrible for the environment but it's hard to deny just how handy they are, especially when you're constantly on the go. New luxury and travel-friendly brand LBB has the solution with these premium cleansing cloths. They're infused with salicyclic acid and red algae to remove dirt and hydrate the skin; they are vegan and biodegradable; and they're big enough that you can use them to take off your make-up and give your whole body a refresh - perfect on a plane!
Ting Tang Dry Wash Shampoo
This is dry shampoo with a difference, because it's not actually dry and it actually cleans your hair rather than just masking the dirt and oil. You spray the Ting Tang foam onto your hair, massage it in and then give it a good rub over with a towel. A little goes a long way and you do need to towel dry it but it does work and there's no powdery residue to contend with either.
Leighton Denny Into The Gloss
This plumping top coat takes your at-home mani to a new level by giving your polish a gel-like finish. Not only does it add gloss and shine to your tips, it protects the colour against chips and wear making it last way longer. Definitely one if you like the gel effect but hate the time it takes to get them done.
Philip Kingsley Rose & Lychee Elasticizer
Philip Kinglsley's Elasticizer has become a cult hair product and with good reason - because it bloody works, adding bounce, softness and shine, and just generally making your hair behave. This limited edition Rose & Lychee version is designed to be extra calming and relaxing, so you can unwind and de-stress whilst the mask works its magic. Self care baby!
Egg-Zyme Whipped Foam
Eggs may not sound like the most obvious ingredient to go into a face wash but this cleanser from Korean brand Too Cool For School is onto a winner thanks to the lysozyme, a powerful antibacterial enzyme found in egg white extract. The lysozyme particles are great at exfoliating dead skin and de-clogging pores, and it's cushiony foam texture makes it a treat to work onto the face - that's thanks to the very fun sounding 'bubble puzzle technology', which is basically a blend of fine and bouncy bubbles. Egg-cellent.
Rita Hazan Shine Balm
She's known for her range of colour-specific products but now Rita Hazan is building a styling collection, starting with this Shine Balm. And it certainly brings the shine - not only does it add much needed hydration to dry hair it makes your locks super smooth. It's best worked into damp hair that's going to be blow dried and straightened although you can also use it on dry hair to bring any extra frizz under control. You will have to rub the balm a few times when you open a fresh pot to get it to melt into an oil and a little goes a long way too!
The Master Chopstick Styler
If you long for beachy waves but can't get your hair to hold them, it's time for a change of equipment. The Master Chopstick Styler has a supersized rectangular barrel, which creates zig-zag waves that stay in place rather than rounded curls that drop out, and it's infused with jojoba oil to prevent you hair drying out too much. Heat the styler to your desired temperature, wrap your hair around the wand, hold and voila, you've got waves for days.
WNt London Shampoo & Conditioner
If you've spent the time (and money) having a Brazilian blowdry then you want to make sure it lasts as long as possible, and the right shampoo and conditioner can help you do that. WNt has been specifically formulated to ensure that intensive salon treatments last longer. The products are sulfate-free and actually nourish the hair (those chemicals dry it right out) whilst keeping that all-important frizz-free finish you've paid top dollar for.
To achieve the perfect arches, you need the perfect tweezers and they don't come much better than Rubis, just ask pretty much any make up artist. The Swiss tweezers are crafted with the same care and precision as Swiss watches - so you know they're serious - meaning you can grasp even the tiniest brow hairs. And as the tweezers are rustproof and acid-proof, they'll be in your make up bag for a very long time.
Spotlight Teeth Whitening Strips
If you want whiter teeth but don't have the time (or the money) to head to the dentists, then let the dentists come to you. Spotlight was created by dentists Dr Lisa and Vanessa Creaven to replicate pro treatments at home - meaning you're free to watch TV whilst you do it. The one hour express strips, which contain hydrogen peroxide to break down teeth stains, couldn't be easier to use; you just apply, leave on for an hour, take them off, brush your teeth and repeat daily to get that shiny white smile.
Perricone MD No Makeup Lipstick
If you're aiming for the natural look, there really ins't a better range than the Perricone MD No Makeup collection - it gives you the colours and finishes you want as well as that Perricone MD skincare magic. The Original Pink No Makeup Lipstick gives you a rosy colour and hydrates at the same time (and it's anti-ageing too), and now you can get the same nourishing formulation in a range of bolder colours, including Berry, Wine, Red and Cognac. Time to pucker up.
Super Facialist Salicylic Acid Anti-Blemish Wash
We all know about the power of acids, and whilst getting a concentrated hit from a dropper bottle is great, having an acid in your cleanser is even better. And for congested skin - a common problem in London thanks to going from sweaty tube to dirty air and slapping on makeup in between - salicylic is the acid you need. This cleansing wash has both salicylic acid and niacin in to really help clear away excess oil, combat congestion and keep your skin looking nice and clear.
Too Cool For School Coconut Milky Mist
Moving between hot weather and air-conned offices is drying out our skin like nobody’s business. Thankfully a few sprays of this Coconut Milky Mist from Korean brand Too Cool For School and we’re back to having a glowing, refreshed face. The mist is packed with pure Brazilian coconut water so it keeps your skin hydrated without drenching your face. It’s a great one to spray on post-cleanse if you don’t wanna go for a cream moisturiser but it’s just as good on top of your make-up to create a dewy glow.
MALAKO Skin to Soul Hand and Body Wash
Despite the fact that we wash our hands multiple times daily, hand wash isn't something we normally pay a huge amount of attention. Well not anymore. The Skin to Soul Body and Hand Wash from MALĀKO, which is inspired by traditional Thai healing, not only cleans but actually nourishes and evens out your skin thanks to frankincense oil, pomegranate extract and camelina oil - so no more dry hands. You can use it in the shower too, and it smells so nice that you'll want to slather it all over yourself.
Ariane Poole Concealer Palette
If your tan (real or fake) is fading but you've not quite gone back to your palest self, getting the right shade of skin make-up can be tricky. Mixing two different colours can work but that often involves carrying two separate products, which isn't exactly handy. Ariane Poole has got the solution with this customisable concealer palette - three creamy shades that you can mix and blend according to your colouring, so you're covered (literally) whether you're concealing a red blemish or a dark circle.
If you suffer from it (and have the collection of cycling shorts to wear under dresses to prove it) then you know uncomfortable chafing can be. This genius little spray from Smoovall takes all that irritation away by creating an invisible layer to prevent against friction. Spray away, let it dry and then you're good to go for at least four hours. It's suitable for all skin types, it's breathable too, so you can do as many top-up sprays as you need, and it's way easier and cleaner than covering yourself in talc.
Instytutum Resurfacing Glow Toner
Swiss skincare brand Instytutum has arrived in the UK and that should make you very excited indeed because its highly-concentrated formulas really deliver results. This glow toner exfoliates and brightens in just a few sweeps. The glycolic acid and niacinamide get rid of dead skin cells and helps to clear out those congested pores, whilst the chamomile soothes at the same time so you get zero irritation. If you're not one for lengthy skincare regimes, this is the toner for you.
