It’s true, you can now walk down the aisle at one of London’s most iconic shopping destinations. After recently acquiring a license, Selfridges has created a bespoke wedding suite on the fourth floor of their Oxford Street store to allow happy couples to wed inside their Grade II-listed building. And they hope that by launching this one-of-a-kind wedding service they’ll help the backlog of couples waiting to get married after original plans have been scuppered by the pandemic.
And whether you wanna keep it low key or go all out, Selfridges are offering three different wedding packages to choose from. The most understated begins with a beauty appointment and ends with a film screening in the store’s VIP cinema, whilst the most lavish includes a ceremony officiated by Jonny Woo the drag icon, a meal in the private dining room and a four hour set from your choice of their in-house DJs. So if you were looking to make the big day even BIGGER, getting hitched at Selfridges could be the answer.
