Jidori is out and Yori is in as the Korean BBQ restaurant is taking over the Catherine Street site in December. This will be the third Yori in the capital, joining the Piccadilly and Wimbledon branches, with founder Jong Soon Kim saying punters queuing at the Piccadilly restaurant kept asking for another Yori in the area.
Group executive chef Park Junchul is taking charge of the menu, which features pork, beef bulgogi, ox tongue and squid for the BBQ, and other dishes like pan-fried dumplings, stir-fried glass noodles and spring onion pancakes with mixed seafood. We’re ready for some DIY action on those grills.
