Yauatcha has always had a strong rosé selection on its wine list but this summer the restaurant is really celebrating rosé with a special pairing menu and window display. Created in partnership with Château d’Esclans, known for Whispering Angel, the menu features four dishes matched with four rosé wines from the estate.
The king crab dumplings are paired with Whispering Angel 2018, probably the most well-known bottle from Château d’Esclans; the prawn and beancurd cheung fun with Les Clans 2017; the crispy duck salad with Garrus 2016; and a bespoke strawberry and vanilla pink macaron with Rock Angel 2017. You can do the whole menu, which really showcases how different rosé wines can be or you can opt for individual pairings, so you can try wines like Garrus that aren’t widely available, and especially not by the glass. YES WAY ROSÉ.
