famous fans like Superfood, The Strokes and Peace, the hotly tipped London three-piece are definitely worth yakking about. ‘Something on your Mind’ sees a more laid back take on the band’s bushy-tailed approach to music and guess what…It works a treat. Transforming the Karen Dalton cover to sound like a Bill Callahan fronted Suicide, the delectable ditty has a certain retro appeal kept fresh thanks to a natural exuberance the hype heavy trio are known to bring with them at all times…which is a hint to the resounding rep they’re building for their live shows FYI.

As far as debut single’s beguiling b-sides (or any sort of release for that matter) go, it would seem this track from Yak has certainly got the knack!
