Noodle masterminds Xi’an Biang Biang are moving into a new neighbourhood with a second site set to open on the old On The Bab site in Covent Garden this year. Food from the Xi’an region of China has become increasingly popular with the success of restaurants like the original Xi’an Biang Biang in Spitalfields, Xi’an Impression and Master Wei (from the co-owner of Xi’an Impression), and our appetite for it only seems to be getting bigger.
Not many details have been revealed about the upcoming spot, but if it’s anything like the OG, we can expect more fantastically chewy hand-pulled belt noodles, rich chilli oils and juicy pork dumplings. We’ll keep the info coming as we get it, so if (like us) you’re a Xi’an fan, keep your eyes peeled.
