It’s going to be a sausage fest on Upper Street when X-Upper, a restaurant entirely dedicated to the best gourmet sausages Europe has to offer, opens this month.

The team visited 14 European cities and tried hundreds of sausages to find the best of the best and they have come up with six for their menu, developed by James Tanner (from Ready Steady Cook and Saturday Kitchen) and Francesco di Marzio (former executive chef of The Greenhouse).

You’ll be able to choose from the likes of the Swiss Olma bratwurst with purple mustard and pickled cabbage; the Rioja Picante chorizo with mojo rojo sauce; and the Italian Romagna chicken and pork sausage with herb sauce and hot yellow pepper salsa, as well as daily specials with prices ranging between £8 and £12.

And there are 250 FREE sausages up for grabs on both 1st and 2nd March, so get down there early doors.
