Wrangler’ssignature Texas style is given an extra dose of the Yee-Haws in their new collaboration with Leatherman tools. The two legendary American brands have joined forces to celebrate their most iconic products. The authentic collection features Wrangler’s hero style, the Texas. An upgrade of the original 1947 jean, the Texas is made twice as strong and water resistant with TOUGH MAX™ LYCRA® denim. The reinforced front pockets feature a bespoke pouch for the collaboration edition of Leatherman’s Piranha 2 tool.
Built to last, the Piranha 2 is perfect for on-the-road adventures. Made from a single piece of heat-treated steel, it’s quick to fix for loose screws and bolts or popping open a bottle of beer. The final piece to the collection is the Rebar, an update on original Personal Survival Tool (PST) first launched in 1983. Palm-friendly it includes pliers, screwdrivers and even a saw. Both tools are finished in beautiful antique copper to match the famous Wrangler rivets.
Could this collaboration get any butcher? Yes. Three short films featuring three inspirational male figures embody the adventurous spirit of the two brands. The ‘Journeyman’ sees influential lifestyle photographer Dan Rubin trekking across London in pursuit of the perfect shot. Paul Steele of travel blog ‘The Bald Hiker’ reveals his drive to experience the great outdoors and how everyone can enjoy hiking in the ‘Adventurer’. Finally the ‘Worker’ features Motorcycle enthusiast Jens Kuck in his workshop, where he customizes and builds bikes, by hand from scratch. If this collaboration has got your manly juices flowing for a great adventure, don’t forget your Piranha 2 or Rebar.
Good luck getting that lot through Customs!
