World’s First Vegan Wingz Eating Competition

Chicken wing eating competitions are ten a penny but what about the vegan version? Well vegan fast food kings Biff’s Jack Shack reckon that their vegan wingz competition, which they started last year, is the only one in the world and this year they’re doing it all again.

Taking place on Thursday 30th May at Boxpark Shoreditch, eight brave contenders will battle it out head to head to see who can eat 10 of Biff’s crispy fried jackfruit wingz topped with an extra-hot version of their classic maple chipotle sauce in the shortest time (and beating last year’s record of 3 mins 18 seconds). The winning winger will not only win the Shack’s Golden Bucket, but they’ll get a whole years suppy of vegan wingz.

Biff’s will be hosting a special wingz party on the night, with DJs in the Boxpark bar and seven wingz flavours to try, including the all-new Hunny Mustard, the Korean-inspired Soyz in the Hood (sweet n’ sticky soy and garlic glaze with red chilli, crispy onions and coriander), and the aforementioned challenge topping, the Maple Chipotle Burn Out. All seven flavours can be bought for the special price of £15 in a new and exclusive ultimate wingz flight.

All profits on the night will go to Friend Animal Sanctuary in Kent, a vegan-run sanctuary that helps create happy homes for rescued hens, alongside pigs, turkeys and other animals.
