Women of the World (WOW), an annual festival that celebrates women, girls and non-binary people while addressing the issues they face globally, will mark International Women’s Day 2024 with WOW: One Night Live in London. The evening will be hosted by WOW’s founder Jude Kelly at Shoreditch Town Hall and will feature a line-up of some of the most captivating writers, thinkers, performers and activists in the feminist space. Guests will include Annabel Hirsch (author of A History of Women in 101 Objects), singer-songwriter Martha Wainwright, poet and author Salena Godden and more. Tickets are priced at £22 (£16.50 for concessions) and proceeds will go toward domestic abuse charity Refuge UK and the vital work of WOW’s global network.
