If you mothercluckin’ love chicken wings then you won’t wanna miss WingJam 2021, a three-day celebration of all things wings. Flying onto Kingsland Lawns at the Museum of the Home this autumn, this years festival will be sponsored by Hennesy and Linghams so expect spicy and cognac inspired wings. WingJam will feature over 50 varieties of wings – hot wings, BBQ wings, buffalo wings, vegan wings, pigs in blanket wings, doughnut-flavoured wings and strawberry cheesecake wings – from some of the best traders in the chicken biz.
A bunch of top restaurants like Bone Daddies and Chicken George Jr (winner of Just Eat’s best takeaway award) will be serving up wings for just £1 a portion, and WingJam is also hosting a hot wing eating contest if you think you can handle the heat. There’ll be plenty of craft beer and cocktails on hand to cool you down and it ain’t a festival without tunes so there’ll be live music too. Tickets start at £14.50 and include a bottle of hot sauce from Lingham’s and a goodie bag.
