wine tasting in the old WWII bunker at the stafford

With bars, restaurants, hotels, shops and galleries all calling St James’s home, there’s already a lot to discover in the area, but you can get the real inside scoop on these brands thanks to the St James’s One of a Kind series of masterclasses. This series, which includes masterclasses held everywhere from wine cellars to wellness spaces, showcases both the diversity of the area and the dedication that each brand has to its craft. The Stafford is opening the doors to its historic cellar for a wine masterclass.

Master Sommelier Gino Nardella, who has over 40 years experience and is a member of the Court of Master Sommeliers, will be hosting an exclusive tasting in The Stafford’s 380-year-old vaulted wine cellar. There are over 8,000 bottles of the world’s finest wines down there, including a fair few rare vintages, so if you won’t want to miss this if you’re into your wine. You’ll be able to put your wine knowledge (and your tastebuds) to the test as the evening also includes a blind tasting to see how well you think you know your grapes.
