We’ve got dinner and a show up for grabs
After sell-out runs in Boston and New York, Sing Street is enjoying its UK premiere at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre and receiving rave reviews. The Tony Award-winning team, including Enda Walsh (Once), Rebecca Taichman (Indecent) and Sonya Tayeh (Moulin Rouge!), with music from Gary Clark (Danny Wilson), has brought John Carney’s beloved coming-of-age film to life on stage.
Set in Dublin in 1985, the musical is an ode to young love and the power of music. 16-year-old Conor is out to impress mysterious new girl Raphina, who’s looking out for a modelling job. In an effort to impress her, Conor casts Raphina in a music video for his band, which he doesn’t actually have, yet.
Sing Street is playing a strictly limited run that must end on 23rd August, so if you want to see it before it closes, get involved in this. We’ve teamed up with the Lyric Theatre to give away a pair of tickets to the show plus a pre-theatre meal at The Lyric Bar, which serves a menu of toasties, wood-fired pizzas and cheese and charcuterie boards.
