WIN TICKETS TO SEE DAVID HAREWOOD IN CONVERSATION AT THE RIO

You’ve seen him in Homeland, Blood Diamond, and Supergirl, or in his BAFTA nominated BBC documentary Psychosis and Me, and now you can see critically-acclaimed actor David Harewood in person as he’s in conversation with Alain ‘Fusion’ Clapham (founder of BMT) at the Rio in Dalston. The event is in celebration of the paperback publication of David’s powerful memoir Maybe I Don’t Belong Here: A Memoir of Race, Identity, Breakdown and Recovery.

In the book David charts his journey from working class Birmingham to London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art to the Hollywood big time, where he also shares insight into living life after an experience of psychosis and explores the impact of racism on Black mental health. As well as hearing the man himself talk, the evening will also include a short Q&A session and a book signing sesh.

If you wanna be there, we’ve got two pairs of tickets for the event, plus a copy of the book for each person, up for grabs.
