BBQ lovers REJOICE…the UK’s largest official BBQ competition, Grillstock, is BACK! This year’s Grillstock London will be the BIGGEST yet with 40,000 festival goers expected over the weekend and 40 teams competing in the official BBQ competition. Think burgers, HOT wings, lobster tails and whole spatch-cocked lamb amongst other meaty goods but Grillstock isn’t just about the meat…it’s about teaming great barbecue food with southern-style hospitality, getting friends together, eating, drinking and enjoying music like Fun Lovin Criminals and Razorlight.
Watch out for the Sailor Jerry airstream and BBQ, which will be at Grillstock with chef Danny Cheetham from London’s Psychic Burger and Dalston’s White Rabbit. Danny has crafted a menu inspired by the original flash artwork of Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins, and will be servings up Burnt Ends Bap, Rib ‘O’ Beef and Chicken Tikka. YEAH!
Grillstock coincides with the end of Sailor Jerry, The Ride which we reported on last month, Bikers will be arriving in style and celebrating the end of a long journey around the UK on Sunday 6th September.
