Since it opened in the summer, contemporary Chinese restaurant Tattu has hosted regular Sunday Sunset events, bringing in DJs such as Tim Green and Volen Sentir to spin from lunch until dinner. Now that we’re hurtling towards winter, they’re saying goodbye to the summer season with a farewell Sunday Sunset party with none other than DJ Fat Tony on the decks. And, given it’s taking place during the climax of spooky szn, there’ll be a Halloween twist.
The party will be kicking off at 1pm, with high-octane DJ sets getting guests warmed up for the headline act, who’ll be playing from 6.30pm – 8.30pm. Since Tattu sits at the very top of the new Now Building in the Outernet development, with views across Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Street and Charing Cross Road, you’ll get some pretty stellar skyline views as the sun sets. And you’ll be well fed too, as Tattu will be serving up the exclusive Taste of Tattu menu, with dishes including Wagyu Ribeye Dumpling, Seven Spice Seared Tuna, Wok Fried Angry Bird and Chair Siu Honey Glazed Monkfish.
Drinks-wise, Tattu has created a selection of one-off Halloween-inspired cocktails, including the Peach Cherry Crystal Cobbler, a Black Margarita (served with spice agave and lime) and the Naked and Famous (served smoked in a cloche with Aperol and smoked falernum). There’ll also be a range of fine wines and spirits on offer, so you’ll be good and cheery when saying a final goodbye to summer.
