After natural wine and a real good time? We’ve got just the thing
Underneath The Hoxton, Holborn is Rondo La Cave, one of the best wine bars in the city, which boasts an epic selection of bubbles and some bangin’ natural wines. There are wines from across Europe, South Africa and Australia, including bottles from the likes of Tillingham, Joiseph, Gran Cerdo and Intellego Wines.
Having played host to kitchen residencies from Chet’s, Dollars, Four Corners and Cantina Valentina, the food at Rondo La Cave is also far more inventive than your usual wine bar fare. The menu now includes snacks and small plates like:
- fermented celeriac bread with miso butter
- fried pickles and romesco sauce
- courgette & mooli pakora with coconut yoghurt and date jam
- crispy chicken thigh sando with sauerkraut and sriracha mayo
- Gorgonzola & caramelised onion cannoli
- deep-fried PB&J sandwich
