Introducing Presents…Volume 1 is a double compilation album celebrating the biggest success stories from the award winning BBC Introducing platform. It serves as a definitive guide to some of the best new music of the past seven years. All of the tracks on the album were recorded live at BBC Introducing events around the UK including Maida Vale sessions and Introducing festival stages.

BBC Introducing Presents…Volume 1 features hit tracks from hugely successful acts who were all given a boost from the platform including Bombay Bicycle Club, Marina and the Diamonds, George Ezra, Twin Atlantic and Jake Bugg as well as some of the most exciting, new and emerging acts in the UK today including Låpsley, Indiana, Saint Raymond, Rae Morris, Slaves and Catfish and the Bottlemen, who picked up the 2014 BBC Introducing Award at the BBC Music Awards and James Bay, who has won the 2015 BRITs Critics’ Choice Award. CD1 features BBC Introducing’s tips for 2015 and CD2, BBC Introducing’s already established acts.
