We’ve teamed up with the Ampersand Hotel in South Kensington to give away a night’s stay in their new Science Family Suite, plus Science Afternoon Tea for the whole family.
The Ampersand has long been one of the better boutique hotels in that corner of London. It sits a short walk from the Natural History Museum, the V&A, and the Science Museum, which is exactly the point. The new Science Family Suite leans into all of that: the kids’ room comes with a rocket bunk bed and enough celestial detail to keep curious minds occupied, while the parents’ side keeps things considerably calmer. Continental breakfast is included the next morning.
The Science Afternoon Tea is worth flagging separately. It’s been running for a while and has a following for good reason. Think dry-ice cake stands, dinosaur biscuits, and jam in petri dishes. Theatrical, yes, but the kids actually love it. All in, the prize is worth over £800.
