If you’ve not been to the seafood restaurant yet, you’ll wanna get involved in this
Following years of work, the Wolseley Hospitality Group (owners of the Delaunay, The Wolseley, Bellanger, Soutine and Brasserie Zedel) finally opened the doors to Manzi’s in Soho last summer, reincarnating the legendary seafood restaurant of the same name that stood just off Leicester Square. The new Manzi’s definitely looks the part, with a mural from Hemingway’s The Old Man and the Sea and a full size wall-mounted marlin taxidermy in the lobby and mermaids, mermen and other nautical embellishments throughout the space.
The menu is full of classic seafood dishes, including the likes of:
- clam chowder with smoked sweetcorn, roast scallops & bacon
- smoked haddock souffle Suisse
- Manzi’s fish & chips
- Bateman’s lobster roll with thousand island dressing
- monkfish wellington
In a nod to the old Manzi’s, there are some of the restaurant’s classic cocktails on the drinks list alongside new serves like a White Negroni, a Sgroppino, and a Coastal Martini. And to take your seafood suppers to the next level, Manzi’s also has live swing and jazz music nights running every Wednesdays.
