In the second leg of a thrilling quarter-final at Stamford Bridge next week, Chelsea is set to go head-to-head with Ajax once again for the chance of advancing to the Champions League semi-finals.
Following a title decider against Arsenal on Fri 15th March, Chelsea FC Women beat Amsterdam’s Ajax in the first leg of the quarter-final on Tues 19th March – they won 3-0. Now, they’re gearing up for a part two, which will see England superstar Millie Bright continue her comeback post-knee injury. And the stakes have never been higher, legendary manager Emma Hayes has never won the Champions League with Chelsea. With this being her last season in charge, we reckon she’s pulling out all the stops to bring it home.
