The Summer BBQ Sessions will run at Netil Market in Hackney from May to August

We think a pie is an acceptable meal any time of year but summer is BBQ season so it makes sense that Will Lewis of Willy’s Pies is giving the pastry a little rest for the season and busting out the grill instead. And he’s not doing it alone either as he’s invited some of London’s top cooking talent down to Netil Market in London Fields to cook up some spesh BBQ menus.

It’s all kicking off with Four Legs on Sat 13th & Sun 14th May, who’ll be dishing out banh mi with fish sauce marinated-pork belly, pork paté, pickled carrot & daikon, cucumber, coriander, chillies and Maggi sauce, with salted caramel ice cream sandwiches for afters, alongside Wingfield Cider and Forest Road beers.
