Hackney’s Night Tales is heading central and taking over the John Lewis Rooftop with brand new pop-up Willows. Filled with plants, willow trees, sun decks and a dining area with table service (plus canopies to shelter under when it rains), the space will be a green oasis smack bang in the middle of town.
A host of food traders will be taking up residence at Willows throughout the summer, including Farmbird, Tacos El Rey, Local Greens and Happy Endings, but first up it’s Giz’n’Green, the lockdown-born pizza brand from Gizzi Erskine and Professor Green. As well as the wood-fired stuffed crust sourdough pizzas, there’ll be gin-infused summer bevs and beers from local breweries for you to enjoy on the rooftop – hopefully in the sunshine.
