does 2013 have in store? Will it be a classic year or somewhat of a disappointment? Will it be a year to remember, or will it leaving you wishing that you could turn the clock back and travel back in time to another era? Well a one of experience this March will give you the experience to travel back in time and see what history was really like, maybe you’ll fall in love with the past or maybe historical terrors will leave you wanting to go back to the future…

This may disappoint some, but Wilfred Bagshawe’s Time Emporium is not actually a real time machine, in fact it is an immersive theatrical experience at the Village Underground in Shoreditch. Many similar experiences leave you the punter as a mere spectator, observing the action unfold, but this promises to be more experiential and allow you to get involved. Following your adventure through time, you will also have entry to the after party with internationally-renowned DJs spinning tunes until 4am.

The action takes place on Saturday 23rd March as you are invited through the shabby entrance of Mr Bagshawe’s Victorian shop front. From there, you will visit key events in human history, avoiding danger and attempting to find an ancient artifact. This event has been organised by the team behind Gloucestershire’s Winterwell Festival, which this year had a wild west fancy dress theme, so they know a thing or two about dressing up. Wilfred Bagshawe’s Time Emporium promises to be something very different than your usual Saturday night out in this part of town or indeed in this century…
