Wildflowers Is a New Mediterranean Restaurant Opening in Belgravia Soon

Expect uncomplicated dishes made with hyper-seasonal ingredients

As the weather turns this autumn, chef Aaron Potter and interior stylist Laura Hart are planning on bringing some Mediterranean warmth to London with their new restaurant, Wildflowers. The concept will be Aaron’s first solo venture (following a career that spans Michelin-starred kitchens from Sydney to New York), centring around hyper-seasonal ingredients and uncomplicated dishes inspired by the relaxed dining cultures of France, Italy and Spain.

Highlights from the regularly changing menu are set to include:

  • Moules farcies cooked in wild garlic & parsley butter
  • Grilled sheep’s ricotta, fine beans & dandelion
  • Mackerel & sardine bruschetta
  • Cuttlefish fideua, grilled prawns & saffron aioli
  • BBQ Herdwick lamb with Wildflower harissa and labneh
  • Strawberries, Cava jelly, basil, Chantilly cream
  • Lemon thyme crema Catalana

Upstairs, an intimate wine bar will serve a selection of vermouths, amaros and spritzes, as well as European wines (including the restaurant’s own wine on tap). There’ll also be an in-house deli, where guests can grab pastries and sandwiches to either eat on the terrace or take away. Plus, we’re expecting the space to be beautifully styled, since Wildflowers’ co-founder is an interiors expert, and (as the name suggests) blooming with flowers.
