WILD HONEY TO MOVE TO ST JAMES’S
Wild Honey may have closed the doors to its Mayfair site after 12 years in business but it’s not gone for good. Anthony Demetre is relocating the restaurant to St James’s – taking over The Balcon space in the Sofitel London St James to be precise – so it’s now going by Wild Honey St James.
Head Chef Simon Woodrow will head up the kitchen, where not much will change from the OG Wild Honey (that’s seasonal, French-inspired cookery with British influences), so expect dishes like roast saddle of rabbit with cottage pie, bouillabaisse, English custard tart and London Wild Honey ice cream. The wine list will cover both new and old world bottles, with two on tap (red and white) alongside a craft beer and a vermouth. Welcome back Wild Honey we say.
