Last week we spent and evening in a Wigwam…and if that wasn’t surreal enough the wigwam lives on a rooftop. Yep, the Queen of Hoxton’s giant wigwam is back…
You may have spotted the 8 metre high tipi when walking through Shoreditch. Inside is a treat; a cosy den of deer hide covered seating, candlelit lanterns, colourful indigenous wall hangings and a central open grill – just watch them flames on your fur coat!
The Wigwam has a daily rotating menu and it’s mostly about the meat. The leg of Pork with Chestnut and Herb Stuffing was the snizzle. There is also Hot Gin Punch and Hot Pumpkin Spiced Cider to keep your cockles warm, but do venture outside to look at the visuals that are projected on to the outside, as well as some pretty little shapes within.
East London’s very own answer to Mother Nature’s theatre of light, The Eastern Lights is a place to escape the cold and enjoy a boozey/foodie night or two.
