WIDE AWAKE FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES LINE-UP FOR 2023

After a mega edition in 2022, Wide Awake Festival is coming back to Brockwell Park for 2023

The festival has built a rep for curating great line-ups, mixing electronica, leftfield indie, techno, jazz and post-punk, and this year is no different. The likes of Caroline Polachek, Shygirl, Ty Segall, Daniel Avery, Osees, Joy Orbison, Blondeshell, Coucou Chloe, Jockstrap, Enumclaw, Optimo (Espacio), The Bug Club, The Underground Youth, Two Shell, Alex G, Tirzah, Black Country New Road and Los Bitchos will all be taking to the stage.

There’ll also be a cultural programme running on the day too, featuring workshops and panels covering everything from the housing crisis to gender equality in music with Hate Zine, and album signings with Rough Trade. Wide Awake’s Positive Policy, which helps change the way live music events impact the environment by banning ban single-use plastics, providing compostable packaging and cutlery, recycling all trader and back of house waste, and only permitting biodegradable stage effects, will also be implemented for 2023 as well.
