There’s a new cocktail joint in Hoxton and it serves a pint that costs £48. No really it does …but before you thinking the world is going insane the pint of English is actually a pint mixture of gin, rhubarb and sparkling wine, designed to serve 5. Phew!
The cocktail joint recently opened on the site of the White Horse with a bar upstairs and basement drinking area downstairs complete with dancing poles – let’s face it after one of those pints there’s a good chance you’ll be dancing!
The bar serves no ice in its drinks, cocktails are pre-mixed and it’s mostly house spirits. We were all about the layered negroni and beeswax all fashioned. Perfect for pre/post dinner drinkies after 100 Hoxton.
