last Whiskey and Words saw the author of cult film Drive talk about his new book Drive 2 (and no Gosling didn’t show) over some Jameson. The next instalment sees Jake Arnott who wrote the wonderful Submarine and Joe Dunthorne who wrote The Long Firm talk about their latest books. This is the second instalment in a series of events designed to bring together contemporary cult authors and up and coming musicians in bookshops around East London. It is a great way for people to meet some of these very talented people, and have a few cheeky Jameson’s too, of course.

The ‘Whiskey & Words’ sessions will be open to public with seats attributed on a first come, first served basis by emailing whiskeyandwords@teaandcakepr.com If you fancy heading along then drop them a line soon as places are limited!
