WHERE TO GET FREE KIDS MEALS DURING HALF TERM

After the Tories voted against extending the free school meals scheme during half-term (in the middle of a pandemic! Whilst they eat subsided meals themselves!) many restaurants, cafes and individuals across the country have stepped up to ensure that disadvantaged kids won’t go hungry.

Below is a list of resources you can access to see how and where you can get free kids meals. If you can spare money, you can donate to the likes of The Trussell Trust, FareShare and Magic Breakfast, and don’t forget to sign the End Child Food Poverty petition.

@MarcusRashford – Marcus Rashford is spearheading the #EndChildFoodPoverty campaign and his Twitter timeline is full of info on places providing free meals.

Kids Meals Map – this map highlights organisations, including charities and foodbanks, across the country that can help with free or subsidised meals.

School Meal Finder – you can search by postcode on this website to find the nearest location offering free meals.
