where to get bleeding vegan burgers

There’s nothing quite like biting into a juicy burger, but what if you want the texture and taste of meat without any animal parts whatsoever. Enter the ‘bleeding’ vegan burgers. Beyond Meat have the Beyond Burger, 20g of plant-based protein predominantly from peas, with no GMOs, soy or gluten in, and Moving Mountains has the B12 Burger, made with mushrooms, pea, wheat and soy proteins, oats, coconut oil and vitamin B12. Both patties also contain beetroot, which is where the ‘bleed’ comes from, so the burgers have that same meaty feeling. Here’s where to get your chops around a bleeding vegan burger in London…

Halo Burger

This POP Brixton spot is the world’s first restaurant dedicated to the bleeding plant-based burger. They’ve taken the Beyond Burger and added their own secret seasoning, serving it up as a hamburger, cheeseburger, quarter pounder and Halo burger (two patties, onion, cheese and signature sauce).
