National Spritz Day lands on Saturday 1st August (as if we needed an excuse) and a fair number of London bars are marking the occasion with some special priced spritzes. KERB Seven Dials Market is giving the first 100 people who bring an orange a free Aperol Spritz, The Clubhouse in London Bridge has £5 spritzes for its first 250 guests, and both Twisted Sister in Battersea and The Landor in Clapham are giving away their first 25 to 50 spritzes free on the day itself. Rattlin Bog on Clapham Common and The Table on Battersea Rise are doing the same, with 25 free spritzes on the day followed by discounted ones for the rest of the week. Elsewhere, Bar Termini throws in a free small plate with every Campari Spritz, and Lina Stores at Broadgate Circle runs a daily 2-for-1 happy hour on Campari Spritzes from 3pm to 5pm, extended to 6pm on Thursdays. Simmons Soho and Six by Nico in Canary Wharf both have £5 Aperol Spritzes, while Big Penny Social is giving ticket holders a free one on arrival.
Beyond the one-day deals, a longer list of bars are running spritz offers through summer, including £6 spritzes at Corretto by the Canal, Number 49 in St John’s Wood and Slayer in Westbourne Grove, two-for-£12 spritzes at 91 Brick Lane and £10 all-day Aperol Spritzes at BFI Riverfront. Bar Brasso in Battersea has £5 Campari Spritzes throughout August on top of its regular happy hour, and Bar Jackie has put together its own Campari Spritz menu for the occasion. Saluti!
