ROSE | OUR EYES

After premiering on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show – RIP – earlier this month (March), we’ve not been able to get Our Eyes out of our head. One for pop lovers, the punchy percussion-heavy track with a subtle tribal-esque edge to its instrumental, tells the familiar story of a lovesick woman who lets her partner get away with murder because of the unwavering love she feels for him.

MIDEAU | FEET TO THE SUN

The perfect track to listen to now the notoriously shy British sun is finally starting to make an appearance, Feet to the Sun is a glitteringly melodic indie pop track that has us praying the premature spring warmth is here to stay so we can continue to enjoy this masterpiece.

JACK + ELIZA | DIAMONDS

Female/male duos are few and far between these days, let alone ones that are actually, you know, not embarrassingly poor. Thankfully, Jack + Eliza have managed to harness their talent to escape that curse if their new track is anything to go by. Filled with glorious harmonies that are laced with the same magic that made US group The Beach Boys so iconic, but tinged with a subtle hint of seasonal melancholy, Diamonds is truly something special.

SAN CISCO | MAGIC

If you’re an avid follower of NOISE BOX – which is a stupid question really, of course you are – then you’ll know that Australia has really been knocking it out of the park with it’s musical offerings so far this year. San Cisco’s latest is no different, thanks to the track’s undeniably feel-good vibe that is more than a little reminiscent of a female-led OK GO.

GRIMES | REALITI

Rather endearingly labelled as a “bit of a mess” by Grimes thanks to the track not being mastered, we’re a little bit devastated that we’ll never hear the album – which was scrapped last year after her fans reacted negatively to the pop track Go – that REALiTi was intended to appear on.
