What can I expect with my membership?

Members start with consultation to set their fitness objectives, including a full InBody 770 health assessment, a life coaching session, a functional movement screening and a personalised DNA nutrition package. The BoxCentric programme offers a range of strength and conditioning, cardio and combat classes, and also includes Saturday sessions for 5 to 15-year olds. Oh, and they have virtual reality meditation and boxing available for those who fancy dabbling in the future of fitness.

What makes BoxCentric different?

The team at BoxCentric are founders of the charity Head Guard, which supports women and children across the globe affected by trauma. Their last mission was to Iraq, where they coached ISIS victims both how to box and how to teach the fundamentals of the sport. Proceeds from membership fees go to support the incredible work of the charity.

The verdict

It may be in a swanky neighbourhood, but BoxCentric feels completely unpretentious. You’ll also get the feeling that you’re in good hands the moment you walk in the door. It’s a must-try for those who are curious about combat sports, and especially those who are keen to understand and improve their overall fitness and wellbeing.
