‘You are what you eat’ has been drilled into us for years but Ana Gil Gómez and Borja Oliván have taken it quite literally with their new exhibition ‘We Are What We Eat’. Taking over The Old Baths in Hackney Wick, the photography exhibition will feature a series of portraits inspired by historical figures, but the weird part is their personalities have been reinterpreted through food. Yes, we’re talking cauliflower hair and bacon beards. It’s not all completely wacky though, the exhibition is about raising awareness of eating consciously, but if you just wanna see the crazy photos we won’t judge.
