We are Kitchenette takes over the old Citroen garage in Islington, previously home to Pips Dish, this August where they will be giving some of London’s promising entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their cooking talents.
Describing themselves as a business incubator, Kitchenette, help London’s most promising and original food entrepreneurs to get started. As part of this they will be hosting talks at the garage throughout the summer on how best to establish your name in the world of the food seller these will include the likes of ‘How to launch into street food’ from Kerb, and the story behind everyone’s favourite, Meat Liquor, from founder Yianni Papoutsis. There will also be plenty of eggtastic scran available from The Good Egg, who were once themselves part of the Kitchenettte programme. They will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner from the garage so expect breakfast burritos and their signature shakshuka amongst other eggciting inventions.
