Raising awareness for the vulnerable communities whose access to clean water is increasingly under threat from the climate crisis, WaterAid and the British Art Fair are bringing together a collection of climate-themed art for auction. This year’s British Art Fair runs from 29th September to 2nd October at the Saatchi Gallery and WaterAid has curated the environmentally-leaning exhibition, which will be held on the second floor until the pieces go to auction. The works will come from a range of artists and celebs, including Boy George, Rankin, Damien Hirst, Ben Okri & Rosemary Clunie, David Hockney and Giles Deacon, with 50-100% of proceeds from each sale going towards supporting WaterAid, and there’ll be a twist to the auction as you won’t know who’s responsible for which piece until after it closes.
