take the psychedelic explorers of the 60’s, prog of the 70’s, tech metal of the 80’s, 90’s post-rock, all with 21st century precision and what do you get? You get a three piece in their early 20s called The Physics House Band who are an incredibly modern forward thinking band with compositions already drawing comparisons to the likes of Jaga Jazzist and Yes, coupled with the technical tunefulness of The Mars Volta and Battles. In other words it is MENTAL MAN.

The band’s forthcoming EP is a 26-minute psychedelic excursion through a menagerie of musical styles, moods and aural textures, or quite possibly an advert for Dyson. Either way The Physics House Band are making waves. You can get a FREE download of their track ‘Titan’ here which the band are giving away after celebrating signing to Pink Mist label Blood and Biscuits..
