and filmmaker GIORGIO TESTI collaborated to create a film to accompany Savages’ song ‘SHUT UP’. “If you are distracted, you are available… and yet if the world would shut up even for a while, perhaps we will start hearing the distinct rhythm of an angry young tune.” speaks Jehnny Beth, front woman of London post punk band Savages.

The single is taken from SAVAGES’ forthcoming debut album SILENCE YOURSELF, which is released on 6th May on Matador / Pop Noire records. Their live show is utterly awesome. It seems like they have kept the world out making part of their appeal their mystery and will be interesting to see the reaction once this album drops.

SAVAGES will also be on tour throughout May.
