wagamama launches noodle lab

There are branches of wagamama all over London – you might even have a favourite one – but did you know they’ve got a test kitchen in Soho that’s open to the public? The Noodle Lab, on Dean Street, is the only place in the UK where wagamama tests new concepts, including dishes, collabs and even uniforms, by letting you guys in to try it all out and leave feedback, so you could be deciding what gets rolled out nationwide. Now wagamama is testing a new set of fish dishes, including chilli prawn ramen, tuna kokoro bowl and sakana fish curry, worked in partnership with The London Nutritionist Jo Travers to advise on the benefits of Omega 3. Obvs fish is a big part of the Japanese diet but it’s got a ton of health benefits too…that omega-3 is good stuff you know.

To mark the official launch of the Noodle Lab, wagamama has got artist Manou Bendon to create ten hidden wave artworks around Soho, made using reverse graffiti (that’s using jet washers to clean the street and create the piece). Keep your eyes peeled if you’re in the area because if you spot one of the artworks and tag them in your Insta Story with @noodlelab #humblehero, you could win one of five Japanese feasts for you and your pals. Wavey.
