It’s
that time again, time for the annual fashion event that is Vogue’s Fashion Night Out. Taking place on Thursday 8th September the night sees a host of stores throw open there doors and offer not only great fashion tips but music, free drinks, canapes, special offers, competitions and goody bags! Night out indeed! As usual the list of shops taking part is huge but here are our pick of the bunch:
- Mulberry’s Bond Street and Brompton Road stores will be serving quintessentially English food (mini toad in the hole is on the menu!) and hosting prize draws every half an hour, with prizes chosen from our newest collection. Mulberry on New Bond Street will have a resident celebrity DJ for the evening and guests will be able to snap pictures in the pop-up photobooth before stopping for a spot of nail painting or face-painting outside the store, next to our pop-up nut stall! Both stores will be giving away goodie bags throughout the evening as well as exclusively launching the new season Tillie Booties as part of Mulberry’s Autumn Winter 2011 Catwalk Collection.
- Liberty London is celebrating with a Hawaiian themed evening. Hostess (with the most-ess) Lulu Kennedy has invited her menagerie of designers to share the fun. Richard Nicoll, Jonathan Saunders, Simone Rocha and Michael Van der Ham will all be involved in Luau and on hand to talk customers through their collections as well as give out flower lays to the people wearing their favourite Hawaiian outfits. Liberty’s favourite DJ Richard Sloan will be DJ’ing and for one night only guests have the chance to become the next Vogue cover girl. Mahiki Coconut rum have provided a rum shack and Hawaiian themed bar and Hourglass will be offering complimentary mini makeovers using their Film Noir lash lacquer.
- Alexander McQueen on Bond Street will be creating a limited number of FNO2011 keys containing a special code for the chance to win an iconic Alexander McQueen Folk Tote. A limited-edition Crystal Skull Keyring, created especially for Fashion’s Night Out, will also be available to purchase in store and online. Visit between 6pm – 10pm
- There will be glamorous guests, beauty treats, complimentary cocktails and plenty of designer appearances over at Harvey Nichols. Treat your inner child and play on the fairground stalls, get your hair and nails done, and have your Vogue FNO t-shirts customised by the likes of Peter Pilotto and Marios Schwab amongst many others, with all proceeds going to Kids Company. RSVP email eventsrsvp@harveynichols.com
- Topshop Oxford Street are throwing a party with DJs and the Vogue fashion team on hand to help you shop.
With so much going on in just one night we suggest you make a plan of action to make the most of the events – no room for slackers here! Plan your night now on the website or download the app. Good Luck people…
