Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens is the place to be this summer, and not only because it’s a great place to soak up the sun but because it’s playing host to a load of FREE events. Every Tuesday in July the Summer Screen will be showing a movie – Pitch Perfect, Ratatouille, Back To The Future and The Greatest Showman are on the programme – so you can grab some street food from Bokit’la and Harlem2Manila and some bevvies from Mondo and The Alchemist before settling into a deckchair for the film. You can do your best Mariah impression at Bearpit Karaoke, Vauxhall’s take on Berlin-style mass karaoke, which is hitting the gardens for one Saturday in July, August and September. And if you swing by on the August Bank Holiday, you’ll be able to enjoy the Victorian funfair featuring circus acts, vintage games, music, dancing, ice cream, fish & chips and a prize for the best fancy dress – it’s fun for all the fam.
