Are you are skater who loves Disney? Hallelujah! The gods have spoken. Vans have teamed up with the cartoon heroes on a fun-fuelled collection. Featuring the likes of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Winnie the Pooh, this is a collaboration for Disney fans and classic Vans collectors alike. Vans are no strangers to the old co-lab game – The Beatles, Liberty and Star Wars are just the tip of their iceberg. Celebrating ten years of the Vans Vault, they have reissued classic character prints from the 1980s. Set within some of Vans most classic silhouettes, the collection features the Authentic LX and Sk8-Hi LX.
There’s also a story behind this celebration. Anaheim, was the site of the first ever Vans factory, but also the home of Disneyland California. A perfect fit, the pair have been collaborating for decades, Vans even produced black waffle sole sneakers for Disneyland staff.
Now available for a new generation, the Vans Vault sees the key elements of the leather strip and heel tab branding emblazed with all over prints of Mickey and Donald. Red for Mickey and Blue for Donald of course! As well as sneakers, the collection features sweaters and accessories such as backpacks and bucket hats.
